Welcome to Sutton Bridge power station

Sutton Bridge Power Station, with a transmission entry capacity of 819MW, is a gas powered Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) comprising of two gas turbines and one steam turbine operating in a multi shaft configuration.

Located adjacent to the River Nene, approximately 3km from Sutton Bridge in Lincolnshire, England.

Sutton Bridge Power Station was originally constructed for Enron and started commercial operation on 28th May 1999 with a thermal efficiency of 54%.

Owned and operated by EDF Energy from March 2000, the station was acquired by MPF Holdings Limited in March 2013.

In the summer of 2015, MPF Holdings changed its name to Calon Energy Limited.
