Sutton Bridge Power Station is a gas powered Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) which has a maximum capacity of 850MW, comprising of two gas turbines and one steam turbine operating in a multi shaft configuration.
Located adjacent to the River Nene, approximately 3km from Sutton Bridge in Lincolnshire, England.
Sutton Bridge Power Station started commercial operation on 28th May 1999. Following a major upgrade completed in 2017. Sutton Bridge currently has a thermal efficiency of 56.6%.
The station was constructed for Enron before being purchased by EDF Energy in 2000, It was acquired by MPF Holdings Limited (now Calon Energy) in March 2013.
